Anyone on Rhapsody this week?

Recommended Posts

We are excited for our trip coming up this Saturday!   I'm curious about the mood of passengers and crew on the ship?  I don't want to downplay any concerns but hope it's still a fun and upbeat experience once we're on board.

On right now and things are great. We are also dong B2B so will be on next week too.

I checked to see how many cabins are available for next week and there were still 255 cabins.

Passengers and crew all seem normal, friendly and happy.

Next week may be even better with less passengers onboard.

How do you find out cabin availability please?  Thanks.

Was on the rhapsody feb 29 sailing. Everything seemed normal then. Main dining room food and service was wonderful, but the casino was small and would get very crowded and it seemed as if all of the smokers just stayed in there. I love to play slots but the smoke was terrible!

Thank you so much---that's great to hear.  We have until midnight tonight to cancel/postpone and are struggling with the decision.  Believe we are leaning toward taking the trip--really appreciate your message.

Can someone also ask what their Europe plans are!? I'm due to sail out of Venice in May and I really can't see that happening....

FYI, just canceled our RCI Rhapsody Jun 13, 2020 out of Venice via our TA. We made final payment week ago. Apparently RCI didn't process it yet,  so we will get a full refund. We took out insurance with our TA and will get that back, too.

We also cancelled our MSC Venice cruise for June 5, 2020. Received a FCC for cruise and port charges. Will get a refund for the taxes. Lost our insurance because final payment was processed by MSC.

TA did it all for us. No problems.

Now to cancel Delta flights.

We are sailing from Tarragona to Venice in May on the Rhapsody,  much too early for RCI to make any decisions.

Have to wait and see if the Rhapsody leaves Florida and does it's Transatlantic

Went through the booking process online for each cabin category online and totaled the number of cabins I found.  There may actually be more unsold.

We just got off last Saturday. Had a fantastic time. Crew were exceptional.

Everything very clean. Shows good. Food great. 5 stars all around. Washy washy

was much more intense, and the concerns about the virus were noticeable.

We are booked on March 28th and have decided to rebook, as my son has Down

Syndrome and is very susceptible. Hate to do it and our great waitresses Maria

and Ladlyn were exceptional. They are at my time dining tables 125 thru 129.

If you can  let them know by contacting Steffan the head waiter and tell them

we are sorry we will not see them again.

They fell in love with our son and the service was unlike any we ever had. Ask

for them if you like. He won the belly flop and was the 3rd sexiest man on the ship!

Any questions fire away.653701792_seanandcaptain.thumb.jpg.71b905db4be0c0444696007807589464.jpg

Thank you so much for letting us know how your trip was, and I LOVE this picture of your son--I can see why they fell in love with him. Wish I had seen him in those contests!  I'll do my best to find the crew members you mentioned and I am sure they will understand your concerns but will miss you nonetheless.   I'd love to hear a little about the mood of people on the ship---upbeat or very concerned?  Thanks again.

Everyone was upbeat. We had bad weather coming back and there were a few

Grumpy Cats. Most of the crew know each other so you can ask your waiter to

find them so you can explain for us. Thank you so much! The video I posted

is Sean winning the belly flop on the Harmony, check it out.I will post the video of

Rhapsody belly flop soon, also pics. Great weather overall. Captain very nice.
