I post the Bon Voyage threads 7 days before sailing so, to be included in this, you need to post your details here to allow sufficient time to be on the updated Future Cruise Listing.  It’s better to post earlier than later but if it is later please post THREE weeks in advance to make sure it doesn’t get missed.
           
We would also be interested to know if this is your first cruise, your first HAL cruise or if you are celebrating a birthday or anniversary.  Details needed are in the 2nd post of this thread.

Hi Jacqui, the cancellation of this weeks cruise had us change our fall plans.

 

We are now booked for the  November 8, 2020 10-Day Panama Canal Sunfarer.  We did cancel the November 22, 2020 Veendam cruise.  Could you please make these adjustments?

 

Hopefully our August cruise stays in place.  When talking with my PCC this morning she thought that May will have some very interesting itineraries.  I hope she is right.

Jacqui - I cancelled the May 10th Nieuw Amsterdam, and to be honest the Sept Noordam to Japan is not looking too good right now but I haven't cancelled it yet.

Honestly, even if the virus clears up it could return in the fall and I for one am nervous about being in Japan if it does after how the Diamond Princess and Westerdam have been treated.  

We’ll be cancelling I think and look for a similar itinerary next year.  

I don’t want to be caught in the position I’ve been in with this cruise and lose more $$$ with the “outs” that insurance companies have with “credits” on airlines I can’t use.  I know these are exceptional circumstances but I fear it won’t be over this year. 😞

That's my feeling as well, since the whole thing started in that area. I think putting it off for a year might be wise.

Jacqui, I am very sorry to say that we have had to cancel our June 6, 2020 and June 20, 2020 Veendam cruises.  There is no telling where ships will or will not be allowed to dock in the next few months so will wait and try to do this again in 2021.  We still have our January 2021 Grand Voyage to South America and Antarctica.  

 

And thank goodness we had our family cruise in the Med last summer and not this summer!  That would have killed me to cancel!

And thank goodness we had our family cruise in the Med last summer and not this summer!  That would have killed me to cancel!
