JCDCA Posted March 17, 2020 #1 Share Posted March 17, 2020 (edited) Pure conjecture, but is anyone concerned about delays in the construction and delivery of the new Odyssey of the Seas? It sounds as though many additional countries in Europe are going through similar shutdown procedures to other countries and it would seem a delay in work of a couple months could hence delay ultimate delivery of the vessel. Any thoughts/guesses as to what may happen? I'm booked for mid-January, but wondering if that is realistic now! voyager70 Posted March 17, 2020 #2 Share Posted March 17, 2020 I think that's a strong possibility. Hopefully I'm wrong but no one knows at this point when this will settle down.
MADflyer Posted March 17, 2020 #3 Share Posted March 17, 2020 Odyssey of the Seas is being constructed at Meyer in Germany, but the possibility for delay there could be a factor.

P&O Iona river conveyance is happening tomorrow. lovescats5 Posted March 17, 2020 #5 Share Posted March 17, 2020 Never thought of this. We are booked for March 12 so hopefully even if it is accouple months late our cruise will still be in place.
