Constellation Refit in May?

Since Royal has postponed several of their ships due for drydock / refit, I wonder what the Celebrity schedule is for the Constellation. It is schedule for May 2020.

Its a really good question, but with all this Covid-19 virus in Italy I think the refurbishment will be suspended or put on hold. It would make sense if they do that I think.

Was the refit going to occur in Italy?  We had booked the Constellation in December looking forward to the refit.  Of course, the ship is beautiful and we enjoyed sailing the ship on a previous voyage.

I thought the refit was in Spain?  They have closed their docks as well.    I think they have to do SOME dry dock work but large amounts of the re-fit may be postponed.

We were hoping to experience her after the refit on our cruise next March.  Under the circumstances, I'm guessing it will be postponed.

Sailing with her in May 2021, I would be happy if it was postponed, I don't like changes I've seen on other ships. Only positive would be people back to work.

We're scheduled for Constellation in late August.  I sure hope they get to refit, but maybe now not enough money to go around to do it.  We were on Millennium last July, and loved the refit -- everything except the Sunset Bar on Deck 10, outside the Oceanview Cafe.  Those slats don't provide any protection from even a little bit of rain.  🍷
