Ine Posted April 6, 2020 #1 Share Posted April 6, 2020 I just saw this interesting photo. At least 13 rivercruise ships (probably more) waiting for the time they can sail again are docked near the Amsterdam cruiseterminal
Rare Roz Posted April 6, 2020 #2 Share Posted April 6, 2020 (edited) Thank you, Ine, for posting the photo. You probably don't remember me, but I had a lunch and a dinner with you and your husband on the Oosterdam in 2018. The night we had dinner, 2 ladies sat with us who live in a small Dutch community in Michigan. The 3 of you had a good time sharing your holiday traditions, including making oliebollen. I was taking a Rhine cruise that fall that left from Amsterdam, and you gave me some good tips. At the time I didn't realize you were a CC member. By the way, I fell in love with Amsterdam and The Netherlands, and can't wait to go back and spend some time there exploring your beautiful country. sharkster77 Posted April 8, 2020 #5 Share Posted April 8, 2020 Seeing riverships stacked up like cordwood is not a good look to us fans of river cruising.
AF-1 Posted April 10, 2020 #6 Share Posted April 10, 2020 I was going to be on my first river cruise in May. That cancelled; so will have to wait until May 2021 for my first river cruise. The ships in the above pic look nice.
