New Casino Offers

I would call, not email.  My understanding is that they only allow so many "casino" cabins on a ship.  So it could be that all the alloted balcony cabins have been taken.  We booked a Royal princess cruise (they have no oceanview cabins), and we paid extra for the balcony, others here paid less than us to go from inside to balcony or even higher, but that depends on the cruise and what category you are with the casino.  We paid $245pp for a 7 day cruise.

That sounds normal to me; sometimes for casino department comped bookings, they won't allow final booking of the flight until final payment is received from the casino department either, so you might have to call in to have them override it.

I'll give them a call.  Hope it won't be another 4 hour wait on hold.  LOL

Has anyone booked flights for their casino offer cruise yet?   I'm able to book EZ-Air through the Princess website, but payment is required now.  For past cruises (not a free offer), I booked flights as soon as I booked the cruise.  Payment for flights weren't required until final payment.   That gave me opportunity to recheck fares and make changes if fares came down.

I booked my flights the other day through Princess EZ-Air and did have to pay for them upfront. Went forward with the air booking because I don't think I could beat $300/pp R/T PVD to LAX with one stop in CLT and the flight times were perfect coming and going.

I don't blame you.  That's a great price! 🙂

Even if it costs more, until the ships start sai;ing again it is best to use EZAir with the flecxible option so you do not lose your money if the cruise is cancelled. If you book with the airline, you only get a credit that must be used on that airline within one year of the original flight reservation.

I didn't actually have a problem with getting my flight refunded, though that was because the airline cancelled my flight. One of my family who booked via EZAir is still trying to get theirs back, so... hit or miss.

When prices are similar, I prefer booking my outbound myself and return via EZAir due to differing standards and obligations.
