I hope you and Anne Marie have a safe and uneventful flight this morning!  I know that club well, though it's not my favorite of the DFW set...  But for the proximity to your gate this morning, I'd be there in a heartbeat instead of trekking to other ones.  🙂

Thank you Vince. I agree with you. The club needs to be updated.  I remember when they updated the clubs but that was late 1990's I think at least for some of them.

Just say "crab cakes at Faidley's" and I'm there!

Not Faidley's, although Goldbelly does ship from Faidley's, the current daily deal (50% off while supplies last) is at the Narrows.

Need to act fast as these deals drop at noon Eastern, and generally sell out in an hour or two.

Three ships were docked at Canada Place in Vancouver yesterday and three are will be in port today. A photo I took at 5:40 AM this morning local time as one of the ships was arriving.

Today's sunrise is from my 2011 Prinsendam Arctic cruise.  August 12 was my final sea day before an early disembarkation in Edinburgh to connect to Queen Mary 2 for my return home:

Today's sunrise(or sunset, I know it was August 14 because of the placement on the roll but no time data) is my earliest ever, taken on my one cruise aboard SS Rotterdam V.  It was taken August 14, 1997 as we steamed the inland passage from Seward to Vancouver:

This was my first ever cruise on Holland America and my first cruise with CD Rick Spath who later became a great cruise director on Crystal..

Ironically after the discussions about gourmet snacks, Anne Marie and I were offered some during a rare late night visit for us to the Crystal Cove. And let the record show that we closed down the Crystal Cove.
