PS now that I am home and seeing photo enlarged on computer screen and not on small phone screen - can see Shanghai was a silly guess since writing on signs is in English 😳

Rare cruiser3775 Posted March 29 #14008 Share Posted March 29 (edited) The Mall walkways at the Prudential Mall. Tammany Hall is an historical building which has an amazing piece of modern architecture added in the form of a glass "turtle" roof. Rare cruiser3775 Posted March 29 #14024 Share Posted March 29 (edited) Well I thought no-one would get that. Yes, it is on the outskirts of Churchill on Hudson Bay in Canada. The 18th century fort was built by the Hudson Bay Company to protect their business from the French. The whole time we were there, we were accompanied by two local Inuit security officers with rifles, in case of lurking polar bears. We are wearing the red coverups because we had just been on a boat trip in the estuary to see beautiful white Beluga whales. A magic place, very remote, no roads in. Your turn, Lyndarra Edited March 29 by cruiser3775
Rare lyndarra Posted March 29 #14025 Share Posted March 29 Thank you. The flag flying there is the Union Jack which was the official British flag until 1801 when Ireland was included with the addition of St. Patrick's cross. Next pic.
