We were supposed to be flying to Miami for a week on NCL's Joy at the end of this month plus spend another three days at South Beach.....oh well😕

Heading back to Vegas in a couple of weeks.  They are slowly opening more restaurants which will be nice.  When we first returned there were not many choices for food.    It's not a cruise, but it will be nice to visit LV in 80 degree weather.

I have been to Harrah's Cherokee twice since the pandemic:  once in May and again in Aug.  Planning another trip next week.  They have strict mask requirements and have mandatory spacing between machines and spaces at the tables.  I play craps, so sometimes it is hard to find a space free.  You have to wait for them to wipe down the area when someone leaves.  They are using different dice for each player so that they can wipe them down.  I felt safe....they have the elevators limited to 4 people.  They take your temp and ask questions before you enter.  They have masks available if you don't have one.  I even heard an employee telling someone that they had to cover their nose with their mask (some people want to only cover their mouth and leave their nose free...why bother with a mask?) or they would have to leave.  Of course, it doesn't have the crowds that you see in Las Vegas.

I have avoided going to Tunica, though.  Memphis is the biggest draw, and the CoVID rates there have been very high (for Tennessee, at least).  While I enjoy going there because of multiple venues, I don't feel like that area is as safe.

Still waiting on cruising to return....sigh.  Lost out on 4 cruises this year (1 non-CoVID related).  Next one not up until May 21, so hoping that we will be back on the azure waters by then!

How did you find the crowds in Las Vegas,  Sand and Seas, Mike_DeA. and BirdTravels?

I keep reading reviews about the low class and trashy crowds.  Over on TripAdvisor that's all they post about, including videos about fights, even at Wynn. Also people who are not handicapped renting scooters and then terrorizing people by racing and running into them.  And, of course, the smell of pot everywhere.

Supposedly they (Wynn) will be raising their rates to try to combat this.

Sorry, I haven't been on CC for a while.

LV was empty in early July.  I went again at end of Sept. and it was busier.  I didn't spend much time on the Strip at night, but there were definitely a number of lower class folks.  Never felt unsafe, and cops were visible.  Scooters were there but not too many.
