Rare cruisestitch Posted September 16, 2020 #1 Share Posted September 16, 2020 The website shows that there is a cruise on 26 March, 2022, for 11 nights, but when you look at the itinerary, it shows 12 nights. So the next cruise would start on either 5 April or 6 April, but I don't see a cruise listed for either of those dates. Does anyone have any insight into what is going on? Fouremco Posted September 16, 2020 #2 Share Posted September 16, 2020 (edited) The itinerary shows 12 days, not nights. All cruises have one more day on the itinerary than they do nights. There's a South Pacific Cruise that starts on April 6. Edited September 16, 2020 by Fouremco

Which I would guess would be followed by a Transpacific via Hawaii as she repositions to her Alaska season home port of Vancouver. 1
Rare cruisestitch Posted September 16, 2020 Author #6 Share Posted September 16, 2020 (edited) I see the problem - I had chosen "Australia and New Zealand" cruises for that time frame, They are calling this "South Pacific" and I hadn't checked that category. Thanks for posting so I can see it now. Appreciate the help. Edited to add -- after this cruise there is a two-day sampler cruise and then the transpacific. Lilith Posted September 16, 2020 #8 Share Posted September 16, 2020 Hello Fellow Cruisers, We are looking at April 2022 Eclipse for the 9 night South Pacific, followed by the 18 night Tahiti-Hawaii cruise. Problem is the 2 days in between where Celebrity offers a "2 day Sampler" of Sydney. But it's really only 1 day 2 nights and that day is a sea day! Would we be better to disembark in Sydney for the 2 days and then reboard for the Tahiti cruise? They want an awful lot for those 2 days.

The 2 days cruise costs more because is a drinking parties cruise.

If you take the two days in Sydney, that means packing and taking everything to the hotel, then unpacking, and then turning around and doing it all again when you head back to the ship. If you can book the same cabin for a b2b2b, it might be worthwhile. You'll need to pay for hotel, meals, transportation, etc., if you stay in Sydney, so work out the price differential and weigh it against the convenience of staying aboard. Of course, if you haven't spent time in Sydney before and want extra sightseeing opportunities, that too needs to be taken into consideration. Whatever you choose, I'll be envious!
