People who check into hospitals because they are losing their ability to breathe, and are subsequently released and return to normal life with the ability to breathe can surely be said to have been cured.

If a treatment restores you to health, which is what a treatment is intended to do - it has CURED you.

Too many instances of people living through COVID-19 ranging from intubation and long hospital stays to those who weathered the virus at home having long-term health challenges.  And these are young people in their 20s and 30s.  Yesterday news it was one specific case I recall of a 30 y/o women who caught the virus in March and was still suffering 10 months later - fatigue, breathing, weakness.  Same with polio - it cripples but may not kill.  Is the person "cured?"  This is a very dangerous virus and the best "cure" is to avoid catching it altogether.  Mask up and stay safe.

Cruising as we used to know it has died and won't return.  What the future of cruising looks like is uncertain, it will change, and the virus will speed up that rate of change.

Thinking it can return to the familiar we all remember is warm and comforting in crazy times like today, but it is also an impossibility.  We could very well be living and adapting to life with this virus for some time to come.

The only way out is with a cure.  Vaccination is only a palliative measure.
