Cunard QE UK short summer cruises

Unfortunately had two QE cruises cancelled for June and July but hoping to book one of the new QE summer cruises

Will be interesting to see how the prices are placed and also what the protocols will be

I am wondering if they will be adults only due to a condition of having to have had both vaccinations

When I asked my Ta today she seemed to think they would be on sale by the beginning of April

Is that certain now? I haven't read that any where but I would be interested to know for sure

If that was referring to my comment it was not that the cruises had not been confirmed it was that Cathygh was asking if cruises had been said that they were adults only.

Assuming the cruises leave Southampton where can they go?

I am thinking Liverpool, Newcastle, Greenock Queensferry, Invergordon or a scenic cruise.

The last three depend on Scotland allowing cruises which has not happened yet.

Anyone any other suggestions?

I guess Holyhead, Harwich, Dover, Felixtowe, Falmouth and Portland are other potential  options - I think they could all accept the QE and QV, but not the QM2.

It's just the QE that are doing these UK cruises and they are described as in coastal waters so I don't know if it will be actually going into ports.

It says end of March on the Cunard website.

The new UK staycation voyages on board Queen Elizabeth will be on sale later in March.

For two reasons, I think Scottish ports will be excluded:

Firstly, it's a long way up here for short (3/4/5 day?) cruises.

Secondly, a much better chance of real summer weather with Chelsea1 suggestion....would be interested in some of the suggested ports, particularly a South Coast itinerary!
