Received cancellation invoice without notice

We had epic booked for September 2021. Just opened my emails and there is a cancellation invoice in there without any letter or anything has anyone else recd this?

we got a cancellation for the july cruise, and they sent a letter to download.  however, did y ou really think the ship was going to sail, and why dont you consider the email as the notice?

What date we are September 5th 2021.°

I would have expected a letter to download as you have received? Sail date was 15.9.21. I have contacted them they say they are looking to resume in Europe after Oct 2021 so that means not this year really

That's disappointing particularly since you can still book cruises on Epic throughout July/August/September and October.  Perhaps it is only US residents who won't be able to go, perhaps EU residents will, who knows.

I am due to sail from Copenhagen in September I sure hope that goes ahead.

I’m wondering as it’s a multiple pickup cruise, they are only allowing boarding at Barcelona so not to mix people.

You could be correct as far limiting it to only 1 port, however, the port would be Rome.  Barcelona departure is what OP's port is - Sept. 5th.  Rome is Sept 8th.
