Maybe we will get a chance to see what their Simply Sail program really looks like. "Simply Sail will offer a cruise-only rate for select sailings within 90 days of departure.  Simply Sail will replace Exciting Deals with a new creative look and feel but maintain the same offering parameters."

 

It might also give a glimpse into how they will price sailings that don't have Always Included, maybe allowing us to guesstimate the upcharge many are unhappy about, paying for other's drinks, etc.?

I hope they do, and if so, I think you should thank those of us that don't mind paying the AI upcharge as we will be subsidizing your discounted rate.  🙂

Not to pick nits, but I think the Simply Sail discounted rate is specifically NOT subsidized by those paying for AI since Simply Sail likely includes no drinks, wi-fi or gratuities. Low fares should get low benefits. I would also expect Celebrity to squeeze every dime from the Simply Sail passengers, so they may not be getting a great discount anyway.

 

For me personally, I have always been the All 4 Perks / Go Best type. I don't think Elevate or Indulge are worth the cost, so I will probably be all-in for AI and then upgrade the drinks package. But that's a whole other thread.

Not Celebrity, but apparently Princess had their second busiest booking day in the U.K. when the Seacation cruises opened for booking. It would be interesting to see how Celebrity fare in the U.K. at present.
