Yes.  It's a Princess gift card that you are buying not a Allstate gift card.  You will get the gift card in the mail.

I don't know if I did it right. I Googled "Allstate rewards" and got a link to sign up for Allstate.com. Once I did that, the website told me to D/L the app onto my phone. It won't let me do anything on my computer.

Was I in the right place?

I did connect the app to get the initial points but I don’t turn it on (for driving or stay logged in) just use the dektop site to earn points and buy gift cards.

I did the same and got the same message.  No phone to download app to.  Will wait for Fathers day

So, once I D/L the app to my phone, I can use the website on my computer?

Yes, i don’t use the app just the site. I log into the site daily to accumulate points, not the app. I purchased my gift cards

as well off the site and not the app.

Thanks. I'll D/L it and do what you do.

Seems like a poor way to do it. Keeps people who don't have a smart phone from using the website...even their own customers.

Too bad Allstate does not offer the same to our Canadian neighbors.

In terms of getting discounts, my US based TA can book the cruise in USD or CAD.  So it's not just those based in CA that can book the cruise in CAD.

Yes, that is possible, but my understanding is the agency needs to have two separate accounts with Princess - one for USD and one for CAD.  And most don't bother to do that.  Some say they can bill in CAD, but then you are dealing with their poor conversion rate.  Nice if an agency will easily book in either currency with Princess and use whatever credit card and billing is Princess Cruises.

And this is what I get:

I'll wait for Father's Day for 5% or maybe it'll also be 10% like the last few times.

It did take a bit for my login to be active  as well. I’d try to log in again tomorrow and just double check

On my computer I got the same login page for Allstate that wants me to get the app (which I did, however  the app shuts off after entering my password).

When I tried Allstaterewards.com on my phone, I got a total block because "this site is not safe".

This is starting to not be worth the effort.

Thats what I figured out by pulling FCC from 2023 to 2021. I now only need $422.76 unless air & cruise drop in price. And I spent almost nothing on travel in 2020. So done

It's great for those who can get it to work

Thanks for the heads up, but I am going to wait until next year, closer to our sail date, when I know we are going for sure, and then consider more gift cards to cover the balance owing on our four cruises.

Bought 3 /$500 cards for $1650 total. Needed $1403 to pay off December 2021 cruise, will put the rest on as OBC on the August 2021 cruise. I hope I continue to resist buying internet plan but I might give in (Princess wins) & spend $70 on it with 35 returned as OBC. That's my only voyage with less than 300 OBC. [I usually go through 100 + gratuities + an excursion or 2 (2 here for 125). So I'll need OBC]

Expiration on bonus cards is 5/1/2022

3 - $500 cards? Each earning a $50 bonus gift card? Neat! But how did you pull that off given their "fine print"?

The Promotional gift card is limited to one (1) per customer during this promotion

I know!!!! But it worked 😀 and no code needed. There's a relatively new box (in mobile version anyway) where it asks where its going. I just clicked the option to self-deliver

I would book virtual card always as easier to deal with, but it's also the only choice for Canadian customers.

Can the gift cards and/or bonus gift cards be used in the casino?  Or can you just charge casino chips to your onboard account and pay it with the bonus cards?  Do you just do the gift cards to yourself?

Indirectly.  Buy cards and gift to yourself.  Apply the bonus card amount as a down-payment to balance owing for cruise fare.  Buy OBC or Casino Credits in Personalizer and pay for it with the gift card.  On board, charge casino play to the on board account.  On board account is settled with debts off-setting credits, including that OBC you bought.

Perfect!  Thank you!

It says on the link that Canadians cannot use the virtual gift cards to pay off there balance if they booked in Canadian dollars. Do you know if there is a way around this?
