Alaska cabin advice

Hello everyone.   I have never sailed the Nieuw Amsterdam previously but have booked Alaska in August.    I wanted an aft balcony,  and cabin 7136 was available on deck 7.   Is this a good cabin choice, or should I consider another deck or location?   I wasn't able to find any photos.   Thanks.

Halfacts.com has photos of 7134, 7138, 7139 and 7141. All are aft facing verandahs. Eurodam has is same as Nieuw Amsterdam

We have an aft cabin booked for our September Alaska cruise and usually always try to book one. Great to sit on deck and watch the wake. Also no wind in your face!

An aft balcony in Alaska is a "must" for me on my many Alaska cruises to get great photos of the scenery on both sides of the ship without changing out of my pajamas to venture from my stateroom.

Are The aft Neptune suites on deck 7 covered?  That would be on the New Amsterdam.
