Ncl changes for final payment (FP) for 2021 cruises

All Sailings Departing on or before December 31, 2021: Final Payment is Due 60 Days Prior to Sailing.

 

Just noticed this (maybe I am just slow) will this affect our ability to book restaurants etc?

No it does not. I have not made final payment on my October 31st cruise and all of my dinner reservations are made (right at 120 days out).

I do not believe this is new. My 12/26 Breakaway has had this policy and we booked over a month ago.

This isn’t new. Our cruise is September 19 and final payment is due next week, 60 days before sailing.

Yeah... but the cut-off for 60 day final payment use to be October 31. If the cut off is now December 31, that is a more recent change.

I booked my 12/26/2021 trip on 02/16/21 and it was 60 days at that point.

Cool!  I had booked several cruises at once, 3 in 2022 and 2023, so just discovered this (although it was probably there when I booked). Just have to change the fp note on my calendar, thinking it was next month rather than oct!

My August final payment date was move to mid-October on all three cruises. I was notified last month.

I booked an 11/7 cruise back in May and it was 60 days at that point.
