Price Drop - Re-Fare - Getting 2 different cruise fares

If I log in under my wife's account - there is a $ 34 pp price drop ... but if I log in under my account - there is a $ 84 pp price drop ...

same exact cabin, same exact # of cruises / captain's level - My log-in account is "older", as we just set up 'her' log-in account a few cruises ago when we ran out of 'my free internet minutes and needed to access 'hers' ( no worries about that now, huh ? )

anyway - has anyone else seen this kind of price difference when logging in under your spouse's / partner's account instead of your own ?

Sunday morning - getting ready to call Princess and see what happens ( PVP doesn't work weekends )

Yes, we did when we booked our cruise a few months ago for Enchanted Princess.  My price was $600.00 less than his!  Put a hold on mine and called Princess to book.  They could not find the fare code on my booking, even though there was a hold on it.  Took her over 30 minutes to finally see it and it was because I qualify for a casino rate and my DH doesn’t.  She gave me the code and said to tell whomever I book with in the future to use this code.  Somehow, now my husband also sees the same price as I do when perusing cruises.  I guess he got the upgrade!

No casino fare involved, thanks

If we do get the price drop - it's not "real money" , but will go back into our FCC  account - which we may or may not be able to use depending on expiration date as this is the only cruise we currently have booked thru 5/2022

My PVP was able to extend part of my FCC to 3/23 to use on a cruise. I asked what happens if PCL cancels that cruise (PCL not me) and that FCC stays with a sail by 05/01/23.

guess I need to wait until tomorrow ... closed on Sunday for phone calls about existing reservations ??

think I'll start with calling the general number on Monday - and if I don't like the answer(s) - then I'll call / email our PVP and see what happens

Just so annoying with these price variables. The lower price should automatically include the spouse.

Yes!  I refared  on Friday and rebooked under my captain circle number because it was $150 pp cheaper than under my husband’s number. We thought it was really strange that there was a price drop for me but not for him, but we took it. We did lose some obc but no biggie.

I had to go through my pvp because the regular customer service rep insisted that I would also lose the obc for using an fcd if I refared.  My pvp did it correctly and I lost only the obc for that promo that just ended.

Strange this.  I am the one always dealing with Princess, so per this thread, I just logged in as my wife and priced our four cruises for OCT 2022.  In every case her price is higher.  And when I do the math, it is $10/pp/day on the cruise fare.  I am wondering if is has something to do with not recognizing her Elite status or not recognizing as a past customer?  Interesting question to pose to the sales people or CR dept.  Never realized this could happen before.  The other day, my calculated fares matched with a third-party booking site in the USA.  (I have to convert all my fares on Princess.com to USD as Princess doesn't let us choose the currency).
