Hi, we are booked in one of the duplex suites on  deck 12 for an October sailing.these are now yacht club suites.  I am worried that we won’t feel like we are in the yacht club because of the location of the suite.

We booked it because of the hot tub on the balcony.  If anyone has been there done that and could tell me their thoughts I would appreciate you insight.

thank you

We booked a YC2 on the Divina twice before.

I think these cabins are unique to that ship . Huge. 2 totally separated large rooms, walkin closet. Separate dressing area, etc.

They were not located on the same deck as any of the other YC cabins.

BUT.....I loved these cabins. I would book them again.

The extra walk was worth it.

Since NCL's Haven is most similar to the MSC Yacht Club, I can give my experience of "ship within a ship" while not located in the actual complex....

It was no issue for us. The great stateroom makes up for the minor inconvenience of taking the elevator to the complex. I actually considered the Duplex Suite on Meraviglia but decided to stay booked in the Royal Suite (each has a whirlpool on the balcony). The Duplex has 2 bathrooms vs. only 1 in the Royal but the Royal has more space and 2 balconies. Neither the Duplex nor the Royal has a great balcony, though. I much prefer the Royal Suite balcony on Seaside/Seaview/Seashore.

I doubt that you will feel like an outsider just because your stateroom is a few decks under the Yacht Club.

We've looked at those and close call between that and a Royal.  If you exit on 13 only one floor to YC. We had fcc so went Royal.  Next trip Divina  went YC2, stayed in Royal before and not worth extra.
