It is not allowed to replace a mask on US airlines or other transportation.  You may wear it with a mask but not instead off

I’ve never understood the use of face shields outside of hospital settings. I’m not a huge fan of wearing masks but at least they appear to limit respiratory particles from entering the air. That said, I’m not epidemiologist so if the experts say it’s safe then great.

From my understanding for the cruises out of barcelona, face shields are not to be worn. Unless for some.medical reason which you need to make RC aware of.
