When to book a 2023 Christmas Cruise?

How soon can you book a Dec 2023 cruise?  We went to South America a few years ago on NCL and DH is still talking about it. X has a similar cruise.

Our next booked cruise is on the Infinity.  This 2023 would also be on that ship.

We're trying something different in Oct 2022 staying in an aft cabin instead of mid ship.  So maybe we want to wait to book until Nov 2022 so that we know what cabin we prefer.

We always try to book a cruise while ON a cruise because of the extra OBC, etc.   The best we ever did was when we were on a Celebrity Thanksgiving cruise and there was a Black Friday sale.  We booked a cruise and got so much OBC, and then we emailed our online TA that day who also had Black Friday deals and we were able to combine them.

For us we book two years out normally around the Thanskgiving to Christmas time frame.  That gives us more cabin availability and they normally have some good sales around that time frame.

Wow.  That early?  Didn't know you could do that.

When the schedule opens in Nov-Dec. if you book then you can certainly book 2 years out. i.e. book Dec.' 21 and cruise Dec.' 23. I typically book while on board also for the reduced deposit and OBC. Won't be able to book on board for '23 Caribbean May-Dec. until on board Equinox late Jan. 2022, if I decide to wait that long.
