Guy's Burgers for breakfast - where is it?

 Share

Recommended Posts

I've heard the news that Guy's Burgers will be open for breakfast on the Mardi Gras.  And, oh, about 1 B.C. (before COVID), I heard reports that the Sunrise was serving Guy's for breakfast also.  There might have been another ship or two doing the same, but I don't remember which ones they were.

I'm curious about this experiment - will they change the other hours for Guy's to make room for breakfast?  Will breakfast burgers resume on the Sunrise when that ship sails again next month?  Will other ships be added?  Will it ever be standard across the fleet?  My inquiring mind wants to know!  Thanks for any information.

I was on the Vista in December 2019 and the Dream right before the shut down and I think I recall one or the other of these ships having breakfast at Guy's. However, I may not be recalling correctly or I may be thinking of a breakfast burger someone got in the MDR.

Ok, is it just ME or does none of this sound appetizing at all?  Is this new - Breakfast at Guys?  Don't think I have seen that at all before.  I am wondering if in an effort to spread people out and give us more places to eat they did this?

This would be a hard pass for me.

The first experiment I heard about was on the Sunrise just before... you know.  So it's not as new as eMusters, one-page Fun Times, or casino annexes.  It could be an effort to spread people out and/or provide another breakfast option.

Me too.  Also, the Good Morning Morgan looks interesting.  I think it will be nice to have something different for a change.

Yep! Definitely loving all the options available on the Mardi Gras. I keep wondering to myself if I should try to make it a goal to try at least everything once, twice if I like it.

I think I would try the all-American minus the the burger patty and maybe the turkey sausage one.

I think there are PLENTY of folk who would be happy to have a breakfast burger. Everyone? No, of course not. But I would expect this venue to do a brisk morning business nonetheless. And yeah I bet this will be expanded across the line. I never understood why Guy's closes at 6pm when out in the real world plenty of people like a good burger for supper.

UPDATE:  John Heald posted a snapshot of the newsletter for the first sea day of the Mardi Gras.  It lists the breakfast hours for Guy's Burger as 7:30-10:30 am.  Happily for me, there's no cut in the lunch/early dinner hours; it remains noon until 6 pm.
