Rideshare FLL

Sailing (fingers crossed) on the August 21st Edge.  Interested, from those who have traveled recently, how the rideshares are.  We would be going on Friday afternoon from FLL to Conrad Hotel,  Saturday from hotel to port and then return the following Saturday from port to FLL.  In Boston rideshares can't be counted on right now.

Everything in  FLL is so close most people just take a taxi or uber and Lyft.   Taxi will cost you probably less than $20 for any leg of the trip.

I just went on the Equinox out of FLL. Lyft was about $14 from the airport to the cruise port and then the same on the return trip, but I found out from my Lyft driver on the return trip that a LOT of drivers will cancel the ride when they realize it's at the cruise port. They don't like having to go through the security checkpoint there. I had two rides abruptly canceled on me before the third driver actually came and that was only because he got a bonus for doing so, since two other drivers had cancelled.

You might want to check in with your Roll Call:

Perhaps someone there has the same schedule & locations... or part of it. They might help you with more information.

I hope this will be helpful! emo34.gif

Happy sails,

In June we noticed pricing in general seemed a bit higher and the vehicles we had were in pretty rough shape. A noticeable difference from what we typically get in Chicago. We've used Uber rand Lyft since it became available but depending on our needs the next time we are in FLL or Miami, I will most likely prebook through a car service of some sort for a little better experience.
