Photos of the Odyssey (finally a good old-fashioned feel good thread with no COVID comments)

As a fellow Canadian, I’m wondering if you had any difficulty finding travel insurance to cover potential Covid while out of our country? I’ve read on a few internet sites that if the case level is high in other countries, it can be difficult to find travel coverage.  Just curious how it worked out for you.

Russ, I read where you are a non smoker, good for you. Sadly i have not quit yet

. But, did you happen to notice what areas of the ship are smoking> Thanks to anyone who can assist with info.

Same areas as normal for ships (though I admit my knowledge of these areas are not likely as good as one who seeks them out).  Part of the casino permits smoking.  Also, the port side of the pool deck also permits smoking (the main reason we always try to walk or sit on the starboard side of the pool deck).

Thanks for putting up so much information Russ. I had to read is and try not to look at the pictures you put up as we wanted to be surprised lol. Sounds like you had a great trip.

We are on getting in the ship Sept 11th. Really looking forward to it since we have not been in so long. It sounds like the flowrider may be a little disappointing on this ship. I will let you know how the seams affect me.  Adventure bay is opening soon so that’s good news for in between cruises.

If you could could you please let me know if they had the shorter outlaws out on the flowrider?  I’m not sure I want to bother bringing my board this trip.

We have all of our travel plans figured out as well and it sure has been a roller coaster getting a cruise figured out of Canada.  Fingers crossed our tests go as planned and we board Saturday.

Thanks again for the review. I will actually come back and check the pictures again when we are off the ship.

I have purchased an Internet package for my March 2022 cruise.  I was wondering if they have computers onboard that I could logon to occasionally check my email?  Or will I have to check it on my iPhone?   I do not see any RCCL online center on the deck plan.

On the other Q class ships, there are iMacs in the library portion of 270 for customer use. @twangstercan maybe confirm Odyssey has the same setup.

Set up of the library work area is similar to older sisters but there no computers in the library right now.  All tables and work areas labelled "Unavailable".

I suspect protocols are in play so they don't want guests touching keyboard and mouse otherwise they need a crew member standing there to sanitize between guests.

March is a lifetime away in terms of protocols so maybe computers will be back by then.
