We are docked next to the Scientology MV Freewind. Look it up.

got a shave and total treatment. Got during embarkation day, $109. TOTALLY WORTH IT. Shave, facial, haircut, hand/arm massage and moisturizing.

Face feels like a baby’s butt

warm and slow here in Aruba

tip. Do a mani/pedi or shave on a port day first thing. While you’re chillin and relaxing, everyone is fighting their way off. Then your exit is easy

Doesn't look like there is a person on the scientology ship.

Captain Tom Cruise ordered everyone to maintain radio silence and remain under deck.  But if you zoom in you can see Leah Remini standing out on the bow with a megaphone trying to warn everyone not to board!

I am amazed that while in port in Aruba, EVERYTHING onboard is open!?!?

Casino, stores, duty free, everything just as if we were at sea, all open.

Saw Cruella on the big screen outside, good fun movie.

Wandered a bit around the port, looked in the two local casinos. Lost a little. If you ever wondered what happened to that old slot machine you liked but can no longer find anywhere, it’s now in the islands. Probably Aruba.

Oh yeah, won the hot seat promo thing in the casino.

I was sitting there minding my own business and I hear this voice over the PA, it’s the casino lady and it’s louder and louder and realize she’s behind me. I go along, answer her questions on the mic and she says to pick one of the cards on the board to reveal my prize.

I said to the lady next to me, “you do it.”

Surprised she chose one for $50 in free play!

Few minutes later the next hot seat winner chose one for $100

LOL

We all got a laugh at it

When I was getting the shave/facial/haircut thing, the barber told me they’re not allowed off the ship in ports. Later, I saw him on lido in civilian clothes, but wearing an ID badge.

Our cabin is portside, and I noticed last night in Aruba it was very quiet. Didn’t see ANY activity ashore, didn’t hear any noise or partying.

This morning in Curaçao, it seems very slow to wake up or the locals are staying away. It’s now 7:30, people been getting off since about 7am and I’ve seen few locals or activity.

I get that there’s “island time” but if memory serves, people are ALWAYS at these ships to make a buck. Were yesterday in Aruba. Maybe they’ll wake up…..let you know

Carnival has definitely been hit with the food shortage issues.

this photo has no trickery

Note the size of the size of the marmalade, that isn’t a bowl or a vat, that’s one of those little things you’d put ketchup in for your fries.  I’m a slender guy only 6ft tall, I do not have massive hands.

The croissant can fit in the palm of my hand. I do not have Shaq hands.

Weird observation but are you wearing the Social Distortion shirt variation 'Social Distancing' in one of the earlier pics?  Because that seems like the perfect shirt to wear on a cruise ship 😂

Yes!

a few others noticed as well
