Meet/Greet

I find it very curious that after all the posts -- no meet and great for C-critic members any more due to C19 that the ship-- we are currently on Oviation- has a LGBQT meet and mingle at 930AM in the 270..  

Just looking for comments as to why-- not any judgmemts on any one particular group.

I feel CC members are being pushed back on by the cruiselines and this is just one example-- OK for Thee but not me WE!

I'm sure the LGBTQ+ community would be very happy to include you into their meet and mingle. I find that community to be very inclusive. I'm sure a few are also CC members.

If you positively MUST rub shoulders with your fellow CC members,then organize your own get together on your rollcall. Let us know how many show up.

What caught my eye is holding a meet & mingle at 9:30 in the morning.  That seems awful early for a mixer type function.  But what do I know.

Meet/Greets are extremely lame events.  Doing away with them makes sense.

Meet/Greet is a cruise line sponsored event - those others are organized by passengers on a cruise.

Before the sponsored  meets we organized them Ad Hoc. The Ad Hoc meets were better in my opinion. They were always good. Many of the sponsored meets (not all) are meh.
