I hope everyone is having a great cruise.    I heard this week has 2200 to 2400 guests onboard.   Anyone know how many children onboard this week?   I heard last week there was around 400 children.

Way too many children for my comfort level with the present COVID-19 breakthroughs.

Most of the children I've seen are infant to about four or five. Some run around with no masks and no crew reminders.

I can deal with toddlers, disappointing to hear about no masks but unsurprising. I'm somewhat surprised so many parents are willing to take their unvaccinated child on a cruise!

Have the crew at least been good about enforcing vaccinated-only spaces? I'm planning on spending most of my time in the Solarium, so long as there are no kids in there I'm good. The only other cruise I've been on was Mariner of the Seas in 2019 and children were all over the place in the Solarium.

Not a good thing. If I witnessed this I would surely get a crew member to report the parents. This is not the time to look away & pretend you don’t see.

Have seen no children in the Solarium or anyone checking for bands there. I have only seen a crew member at one of the casino entrances.

How are the adults behaving with masking indoors where required?

Have you been to any of the speciality restaurants?     Do they allow the unvaxxed to eat right along with everyone else or have specific times for the unvaxxed as I saw some other ships out of FL were doing this summer.

I was on the Sept. 5 sail and children were no problem.  There were around 300 and other than the kiddy pool area and some in the promenade they were not in numbers.

Activities such as events in the theatre, they and parents were seated on the 5th deck with masks and social distancing.  Vaxxed were seated on the 4th deck, and no social dsitancing.

Aqua Show there were shows only for vaxxed and others for everyone/non vaxxed.

Ice Show. Everyone/non vaxxed  was limited to only one showing on Monday @ 8pm.

Dining, vaxxed on the 3rd deck and everyone else on the 4th deck.

Pools, other than the Solarium, was limited to only 9 at any given time.

Elevators limited to only 6 at a time.

Social distancing in the WJ and Specialty restaurants.  Loungers, cabana beds and clam beds  were subject to social distancing.  One early morning while walking on the 16th deck, saw a crew member with a 6 foot pole measuring the distances between loungers and other sitting equipment.  Did the same on the 15th deck.  However, since the Solarium was adult only, no social distancing.

Many precautions were taken by RCL, but  some to certain extremes such as the # of people in the pools or asking to see the green band which identified vaxxed Paxs even though the ship sailed at 100% vaxxed.  I was personally stopped and asked 3 times in one night entering the casino and once at the Adult Comedy Club.  Now, I could not be mistaken for a child.😀

Anyone sailing be prepared to constantly wash your hands and using sanitizing stations throughout the ship.  No washy washy song!

I've only seen a few adults without masks where required. I presume there were unvaxxed in the specialty restaurants with us. No signs restricting numbers in pools or hot tubs. Six to an elevator.
