We cancelled our December cruise that required a flight to San Juan and replaced it with another ship that is a three-hour drive from home.  Just too many hoops to jump through, and I still doubt that all of those Southern Caribbean ports will be open to cruisers.

They dumped everyone off at the very first metro rail station and said we'll have to wait for the next train in order to get downtown... They're doing some kind of track maintenance or something. Forward progress = completely stopped...

I'm close enough to see downtown, but I can't get there right now unless I walk... Next train is supposed to arrive in three minutes.

The connecting train finally arrived, and I just landed in Brickell...

And, a few minutes later, I'm standing outside of the Hyatt Centric Brickell. My home for the night. Hopefully, they'll allow me an early check in.

After all the crap Virgin Voyages has put me through lately, at least I did have a bit of good luck just now at the Hyatt Centric... They let me go ahead and check in, and I'm already up to my room! I present to you the new Casa de Sid for the night...
