It’s such a relief that Saga are undertaking the admin for the Passenger locator form and testing needed for return to the UK.  Did they also complete paperwork (if required) for the countries you are visiting?

I agree , some peolle would find it daunting.

only time we filled in a PLF the software said our post code wasn't valid. Tried every combination , capitals  , lower case , gap , no gap. Then suddenly was OK.

Even without  this problem ,  PLF software is one of the most long winded systems going.  I'm  pretty good with technology,  been using computers for 50 years. Still took 20mins (excluding time spent inputting post code)

Yes,we needed a landing card for Turkey. Saga sent this already completed to our cabin for signature. We then returned it to reception and they issued us with a digital coded pass for entry through turnstile.

Can't fault Saga on this aspect.

Agree with Windsurfing about PLF site. We thought we would save time by entering our details and saving as a frequent traveller but would not save. It all gets so frustrating

Have to agree to all of above and rather more sadly.

Head Office is full of Eastern Promise but nothing materialises and details def  gone West

Port Agent in HERAKLION  messed up big time with very late announcement of new rules in shops and showing PDFs of covid vaccinations but the Town Transfer coaches and staff were superb

Find the food in main Dining Room somewhat limited and the always available Sirloin Steak very tough

Breakfast and lunchtime buffet in the grill is pretty well organised and an extremely good selection all around .

The staff though are incredibly helpful especially a clutch of long term staff who truly go the extra mile .

Mask wearing makes speech clarity for the staff amusing at times but pointing to selections helps.

The standard cabin is rather badly designed unless your a singleton as the narrow bit between bed and stiff sliding wardrobe doors means couples need to be very organised indeed to not fall over each other .

Draw storage very limited a common / complaint  i have seen printed elsewhere

Have arranged to see a De luxe cabin which apparently has a Walk in Wardrobe ...more later on that issue

Other half takes big issue with " all inclusive claim" because what drinks are included are def very limited indeed and more like Aldi/Lidl unbranded ???

Included Tour in Malaga was OK, but Malta was questionable and had to keep requesting guide increased volume so those in back 50% of Coach could actually hear and Toilet stop was not for over 2hrs on a 3hr tour ......problematic for some .

Not sure where the 2 posters above suggest Masks are placed at dinner other than on tablecloth

Have heard Jools Club described as Carnivore Restuarant ....personally we found the Fillet Steak and the menu a delight .

The laundries are good once you fathom the little black power button on washing machine but driers results seem a bit haphazard even on Automatic dry .

Thanks for the tip about the black power button on the washing machines. Does one have to pay for the washing machine/dryer please? If so,what coins are going to be needed? Am hoping Christmas cruise isn't going to be cancelled..this will be my first saga cruise,so any more tips much appreciated!

No charge for passenger self-service laundry - even the soap is free, laundry baskets provided, irons and ironing boards. Just be aware that on most cruises there will be at least one person who thinks it quite acceptable to use two or more washers simultaneously (delicates, no delicates, coloured, whites etc) - while they swan off for breakfast, a walk and lectures. And then gets very sniffy if they find somebody has removed their (finished) machine in order to use it.

And while you are using the dryer - stay close by in order to remove your washing as soon as it is dry.

Not sure, but I think that this may have changed now PCR tests are required. Check their website, they should have updated it now. They will still help you.
