It’s been impossible for me to post, so I’ll wait until we get home to add anything in detail, but I will say that now is the time to cruise if you can. You will never experience anything like this again…..a half empty ship, with 5 star service. It’s been amazing. We cruise again I’m January, and can’t wait. Everything has been stellar.

there's the attitude 👍

Today for lunch, we tried the Lobster roll at the poolside grill.  It was a bit small, but it was great tasting.  They are $15 each.

Tonight is the last Formal Night.  We will dress up and head to Vines!

I have seen it and will be on in 9 days!  Is it worth it?  It doesn't look like it to me.  It seems like I would rather spend another 20ish dollars and have dinner at a specialty restaurant

This is Nathaan Phan, his show was great! He does comedy, magic, and wow can he sing as well.

His Scottish accent is an added bonus. He’s on Instagram under magicasianman. I met him a couple nights before his shows he’s very fun, outgoing and approachable, he said he loves meeting and chatting with guests. He will be on the ship next week as a guest entertainer as well.

he has a shoe in Explorers tonight as well .

My wife and I saw Naathan on the Grand in early October.... I agree that he puts on an excellent show. There were only about 50 people in the audience in the Princess Theater, but he still gives it his best show.

After the cruise, we found out that both our sons know him from classes at Fullerton College. We will be seeing him again in a few weeks performing at the Magic Castle in L.A.

I definitely recommend seeing his show if you get a chance.

We wouldn't do it again.  If it was $5, we would.  I didn't think about taking a photo until after it was gone!  😄

The pictures from the Liars club performance look like the performers are unmasked but all the audience looks to be masked  - What gives ?

Masks are not required on crew members as long as they are distanced from passengers, like they are onstage in this case, or outside. When they are on the microphone, they remove masks so they can be heard as well.

Masks are only required per signage on passengers in certain areas while not eating or drinking.

I was chatting with some folks at dinner tonight who said the same. They didn’t have a photo but said it was very small

My sis got one early on on this cruise. She said it was $19 and would have been better to go to Bistro sur la Mer for their lobster bisque. She was very disappointed in the size for price.

Seeing as how the roll is about the length of a french fry, I'd agree with her.

It appears that selecting disembarkation times on the app is not being used.  We received a paper request in our cabin a few days ago to select when we wanted to disembark.

And then yesterday morning, we received our colored luggage tags.  The old fashion way!

Our cruise is coming to an end 🙁

Last night, we had dinner in Bistro Sur La Mer.  The food was outstanding, as was the service.  The only thing we would change is the lighting.  It is a bit bright.

Also, we have been streaming on our tablet (Spectrum, Netflix and Hulu) and it has worked great!  Last night, we watched the Lakers win over Miami in OT via the Spectrum app.

The TV shows and movies on the Medallion On-Demand system are really dated.  I don't think they have yet updated them since pre-covid!

Off to the Fitness Center....

We've been a little curious about the Bistro Sur La Mer. Does it have any intimate seating, or is it all open to the atrium? It's been difficult to get any good photos or videos of the place. I was hoping to make reservations prior to boarding. Thanks

They may be distanced from the passengers but they are not distanced from each other.  If that is ok then why do passengers have to mask ?  This is not logical my Spock self says

The area is quite opened to the Atrium.  We did secure a table as far back as we could. I'll try to t

post some photos.

In PV, I took the ship tour to Las Caletas. I love this excursion and have done it several times. There are many included options like snorkeling and kayaking, this trip all I did was chill in the hammock and swim…. Rinse and repeat.

I tried my first passion fruit margarita. Yummm 🍹

Assistant Cruise Director Lauren presented “your home, our history”. This is the first cruise I recall seeing many enrichment presentations. Giana presented a class on using Instagram as well right after.

Lauren was very good. I was truly impressed with her knowledge and presentation skills. She will be on the Majestic until February I believe she said so if you are sailing soon, I encourage you to attend.

Also, Vickie boards this Saturday as a guest port lecturer as the ship continues this itinerary. If you are sailing in the coming weeks, she has cruised for decades and has a lot of knowledge to share.

I ate at Harmony, the surcharge Asian restaurant onboard, deck 6 midship by guest services. I greatly enjoyed my meal, and when there was a dish I didn’t enjoy, my waiter happily brought another…. Oh and I got 2 of the desserts 🥂😅

These are my ratings, food is of course subjective.

Peking duck salad - 9 - flavorful and very fresh

hot and sour soup - 9- very flavorful and not overwhelmingly spicy

Braised tofu, mushrooms and bok choy 😬 I didn’t like it, bland flavor to me. I like spices and flavors.

salt and pepper chicken -8 the chicken wasn’t very flavorful on its own but the sauce was excellent

mango sago soup with pistachio ice cream/ 10, loved it! The flavor was good but not overwhelming

green tea cheesecake - 7 I loooove green tea but it wasn’t as flavorful as I thought it would be

the waitstaff were exceptional and it’s a beautiful venue.

Oh and I forgot, I won the yes/no game…. Again 🙌🏻 I seek to lose against men and usually win with women 😂although I did best Dan Falconer as well. This time  I beat the lovely Karen for the win. CD Kevin may have beat me, the world may never know 😅. I’ll sign up to play when I come cruise again later this month!
