Assistant Cruise Director Lauren presented “your home, our history”. This is the first cruise I recall seeing many enrichment presentations. Giana presented a class on using Instagram as well right after.

Lauren was very good. I was truly impressed with her knowledge and presentation skills. She will be on the Majestic until February I believe she said so if you are sailing soon, I encourage you to attend.

Also, Vickie boards this Saturday as a guest port lecturer as the ship continues this itinerary. If you are sailing in the coming weeks, she has cruised for decades and has a lot of knowledge to share.

We saw that presentation in September and thought it was great.  We loved Lauren.  Very talented.

Now that you all are back - if you have MDR dinner menu pics, could you post with the days?  Also, any thoughts on the ports?  We have $300 of use it or lose it cruise credit for our trip beginning Dec. 11. Will do a specialty - but trying to decide how best to spend the rest. Would definitely appreciate insight

We used our $200 OBC on a few nice bottles of wine (we spent more than the $200).  We had the beverage package, but the bottles we purchased were not available by the glass.

My first thought was "$300? Bring on the wine list!" 😂

I'd have some fun in the casino.

First thing onboard go to Passenger Services tell them that you want to sign up for the Winemaker's Dinner and/or Chef's Table.  If you are in the first group, you can't get into your room and this is the easiest solution.  They are hard to get into.  We'd tried on the last two cruises and not succeeded. If there are lots onboard from the previous cruise, they get on the list before you can board, but try to talk to the Maitre'D or your Dining Room Head Waiter (both probably have different titles now as there was a lot of that recently) about how much you would love to go or if you are in a suite, ask the concierge to work on it.  I also imagine if you are among the Most Traveled you would get priority.  The Chef's Table is $115 each but it was amazing!!  Both the food, presentation, and attendees are superb.  That's what we did with our onboard credit.

I was wondering if anybody can tell me if Hawaiian cruise wear is worn on a Mexican cruise. Just want to fit in:)

I saw Hawaiian shirts, but not that many.  Maybe you mean the type of clothes (not just shirts) that you might wear on a Hawaiian cruise?  Then I guess so.  It was pretty casual.  Lots of shorts.

Sorry for the lack of updates on my end, trying to post here has been impossible until now.

Check-in could have gone smoother, but they finally resolved our credit card issue. I stopped at guest services to ask for any available upgrades, and we went from being in an inside cabin to a mid-ship mini suite. YAY!!!!

There are just under 1800 pax on board.

Here I am celebrating being on board after nearly 2 years.

Last night we ate at the Crown Grill, which was just ok. We’ll give them another chance later in the week.

The crew has been wonderful, and even with masks on, you can tell they are smiling.

Our meet & greet is at 10am, and I’m hosting a slot pull at 3pm. We tried our luck in the casino  last night, and didn’t do so well, however one woman hit a jackpot for slightly over $12k. She was much calmer than one would expect.

Late to this thread but I’ve been looking to see how things are going recently with Princess before my Dec. sailing. And your profile photo caught my eye. And now these! Great stuff, some of my favorite people!

We wouldn't do it again.  If it was $5, we would.  I didn't think about taking a photo until after it was gone!  😄

We got our account printout and we actually didn't get charged for any of the four lobster rolls we bought. 🤷‍♂️

I actually bought 3 Day of the Dead Hawaiian shirts for Mexico on Majestic and to get me in the spirit during the cold, rainy months at home. I think David Carey is the designer for one, and I found similar designs on Amazon.
