transportation from Kahului port to Ma'alaea Harbor

We want to go whale watching out of Ma'alaea Harbor with Pacific Whale Foundation.  Our port in Maui is Kahului, not Laheina.  Any suggestions on how to get there?  Is there a shuttle from the pier?  Taxi, bus??

Outside change the tour vendor might provide a shuttle.  Otherwise taxi or Uber.

@CruzinNoony Did you find out about transportation to Ma’alaea Harbor? We’re also interested in this tour.

You should have no trouble getting Uber when you arrive. We just spent 2 weeks there with a car, but had a long convo with a couple on the beach who were doing all their travels via Uber.

Otherwise, you can look on Google maps and there is a #20 bus that leaves from Queen Ka'ahumanu shopping center for Ma'alaea Harbor round the clock. A 23 min walk from the harbor to the shopping center. For my money I'd do Uber, even though while we were there we took a bus for the heck of it and it was very timely.

Take a taxi. It is only a 15 minute ride or so.
