The margarita was pedestrian at best, so I switched to one of my favorite home town brews, Sweetwater G13 IPA from right down the road from my apartment...

 

 

And, some hellfire shrimp and a Scotch egg... That which doesn't kill me makes me stronger...

You could catch an uber across Indian River to Cocoa Village, a really nice small walking, shopping and eating/drinking area.  Several pubs worth visiting at Harrison and Delannoy.  If you like French food, Cafe Margaux is very nice.  Walk around after eating and drinking, the waterfront is only a couple blocks away and catch the uber back to the hotel from there...

I can tell you one thing about this hotel, it smells like an ashtray even on the outside... I think that I'll reconsider any cruise out of this port altogether.

Just above the whirlpool there's a huge possum on the rocks... They're basically a giant rat, most often seen squished in the middle of the road... Yes, I was that close to him...
