Disney Hotel to Airport

I am looking for transportation ideas to get from my Disney Hotel back to Orlando airport. There is only 1 person travelling. Thank you.

Your hotel may offer a shuttle otherwise Uber/Lyft or Taxi.

If you mean Disney World hotel and it's before 12/31, you can catch Magical Express for free.

 

If you mean "Disney-area" hotel, a shuttle is unlikely. Uber or Lyft is probably your best option.

To clarify one step further- if your arrival at a Disney-owned hotel (Swan and Dolphin are NOT Disney owned) is on or before 12/31/21 you are entitled to round trip transportation between MCO and the hotel.

To clarify, I will be at a Disney Property, not the swan or Dolphin. I will be there after Jan.1st so the Magic Express is out for me. I was thinking of a shuttle service maybe, or another shared ride to save some money. Thanks again

Mears Transportation was the underlying company for the DME. You can use them or Uber.

I too am sad that ME is going away. However, Mears transportation will still be offering transportation to & from the airport for a fee. You can actually go on the Mears site and it will give you all the information for your travel date. Hope this helps.

Yes it has always been. I think that is why they will continue with a fee. I am sure it will be just a little different then the way it’s been for so many years. At least they offer an option to get from Orlando airport to Disney hotel and back.

We used the magic bus several times from one of the Disney hotels to MCO airport and then used the RCCL transportation(a bus) from there to the port. I don't recall the price, but it was convenient,reliable and safe. Therefore easy and not stressful! When we got to the port, they told us  our bags would be delivered to our cabins,so one less time to drag it around. I don't know what they are charging now, but being that WDW and the port are quite a distance from each other, I would do it that way again.
