Would we be violating the PVSA in this scenario?

Next December we are thinking about taking a Panama Canal cruise departing Port Canaveral and arriving in Los Angeles.  Then about 3 weeks later we would board the same ship in Los Angeles and take it via the Panama Canal to Miami.  Would this be a violation of the PVSA?

Panama cruises call at Cartagena, Colombia, or the ABC islands. These are all in South America, so it makes no difference if you have one cruise or a series of back to back cruises, each cruise visits a distant port so can travel between any US ports.

Two separate cruises.

You have a -3- week break between cruises.

Back-To-Back only in the way you are creating it in your minds eye.

All port and PVSA requirements met either direction.

Florida-California-Florida Panama Canal cruises are usually 14 days in length -

With the -3- week break you would not be ordinarily taking the same ship - - -

This unless a strange ship positioning cruise.

What was the proposed cruise line - ship and date of sailing(s) ?
