Boarding Question

Leaving Sunday 1/2/2022 on the Rotterdam.  I am a 4* mariner.  My boarding pass shows a time of 1:20PM.  Do they still have a separate line for 4*,5* and suite cruisers or is it strictly being done by time?   Thanks for your help.

Our arrival time was requested at 2:00 pm. We arrived at 1:30 pm and were in our stateroom within 30 minutes. In fact, our luggage beat us to the stateroom. There is a reason and plans to board with social districting and checking documents that are new to the agents. 1-Boarding Pass  2-Passport/Photo ID  3-Authorized Covid Test with negative results for COVID (within 48 hours of boarding) Facial Recognition Photo taken and off you go. For us, smooth as butter. (Port Everglades) We did not notice areas for 4+ mariners but there may have been. Our particular sailing had around 1,600 pax so that may have been why.

We booked a 7 nighter in Nov. on NA. HAL kept changing our check-in time via several e-mails in the 2 weeks before departure. When I called HAL and was lucky enough to get an experienced agent, she said our 4-star status trumps all time assignments.

We arrived at the terminal not long after noon, and when the terminal agent saw our docs, we were pushed right through the check-in process, as the HAL agent had predicted.

We boarded the NA 12/18/21 in Port Everglades.

Boarding times did not matter.  Ours was at 2pm, but we arrived at 10:30am and boarded soon after 11:30am....and enjoying lunch by noon.  And we are mere mortal 3 stars.

4 & 5 stars were efficiently led up the escalator to their priority boarding area and they boarded first.

All is well.....enjoy your cruise!
