I booked a 28 day cruise as two b2bs.  Need advice on how to book the flights. Should I book one way to the departure port & one way from the debarkation port? Any info & input appreciated. 😊

330 or so before you wish to return (the end of your last b2b) you can do a round trip by inputting the dates you wish to use. It works the same way if you wish to get to the embark port early or stay in the debark port after the cruise ends. The only problem is trying to do it at the same time that the initial flights show up on ez-air. I check the pricing on the airlines site as well and one-way and round trip. EZ-air has always been the cheapest.

Yes…we just did this for our B2B 14 & 10 day cruises.

Book one way flights for each segment, so you can easily re-fare if one of the airfares lowers over time.

Agree.

If you book using both ways under one Princess booking number and you want to change one of the flights, you must rebook both ways and the one you do not want to change may no longer be available or may be at higher pricing.

If you book one flight which each Princess booking number, changing one flight does not affect the other.

My Princessa vacation planner said  it  was  best  to book each segment separately even if  they  are  linked as  B2B so  each segment is  linked  to individual reservations.

Price each way usually  comes out  to  same  price  as  round  trip.

I am going to share my frustrations. We are booked for a total of four cruises on two different ships but all are out of Southampton. The first two are Casino Cruises so any air booked must be paid when booked. The second two are through a TA and hence we would pay when final payment is due. I have booked (tried at least :-)) EZ Air for each one. It allows me to go through the process, pick my flights, pick our seats, add FF numbers etc and sends me to "Book Now". I hit that and the wheels turn' After some time it comes back and says "not able to book now; try again" along with if you are still having problems call 1-800-774-6237. I have called 4 times and spent over 6 hours with them-Then tried the Chat feature another 4 hours. No one has been able to make the reservations or tell me how to. "Call back later" Preferably after the end of January"  I will try sending a letter to Princess but it does not look like they want me to use EZAIr 😞

Have you asked your TA to go into Polar and try booking the flights for you?

Its neither Princess EZAir at fault.  Airlines themselves are changing schedules and are unsure of new flights.  Used Celebrity Air for a June Med/Adriatic cruise and flights were originally confirmed but later received email indicating the schedules were still in development.  Inbound Europe was fine, but returning to US was a mess.  That has been a month and still waiting for return air confirmation/scheduling.

If I go to the airline site (Delta) I can see and make reservations. Pretty much like what I am seeing on EZAir. EZAir takes me all the way through booking, adding seats, meal choices etc and say ready to book. I click yes and then it just spins until it tells me I can't do it. Delta would book it now but I would rather not pay until final payment 🙂
