There was a time that I drank something rather quickly because I was really thirsty and hot and asked for another a few minutes later. I was charged for it. I'll take your word for it as I have never seen or heard of the published 10 minute rule or the 5 minute or so rule of thumb. Overserved was the term used on this thread. Our experiences in the MDR (SD) is the Sommelier never lets our wine glasses get empty in the evening while eating. Having the CBP. We stop the flow as we know our limits. Anyway interesting thread of opinions and experiences. 🍷 Edited January 5, 2022 by davekathy

Having the CBP. He's not running your card on that. We get the same treatment (and we also have on other lines). I think they run their inventory control a little differently when it comes to dining and packages, and I applaud that. Also, I've seen bartenders just wait a little while before ringing in the second drink when two are ordered in quick succession (and they don't see a problem such as lining up shots). That's just another way they can help you out. I can't imagine anyone has a problem with that practice.
Marie51 Posted January 6, 2022 #29 Share Posted January 6, 2022 This may be a little bit off the subject but if the drink package is included in the price of the cruise why are drink packages for sale in my cruise planner?

It's not always included in the price of the cruise, only with Always Included fares.
brzymom Posted January 6, 2022 #31 Share Posted January 6, 2022 This may be a dumb question, but I'm asking anyway. If you have CBP--does that include soft drinks--as in soda? I don't see it mentioned anywhere, but I'll be damned if I've already paid for CBP, that I would be charged for a soft drink. I do know you can usually always get water and/or iced tea, but just curious on the soda. Does anyone know? Thanks fellow cruisers!!

I tried to cut and paste the link but my laptop is acting up today. If you type in a Google search - Celebrity Cruises Classic Beverage Package - it will give you a complete list of ALL the beverages that are included. When we want a drink, one of takes both cards to the bar and gets 2 drinks. A while later, 30mins or so. Repeat. Getting as many consumed as possible isn't our objective. In the past, I would occasional get charge, but the charge would be reversed. If it was not automatically reversed, I would stop by and get it done,
