I love the idea of the 3 day onboard scavenger hunt, shown on that ‘Daily’! Brilliant idea and fun 🙂

Absolutely! And as my friend said, out really gets you to actually LOOK at the things around you!

Yes. Roof is closed. Seas are quite rough and very windy. We are being tossed around as the reality of our last few days sets in.

You are also passing through the NE Trades zone, so if experiencing the predominant NE Trades, they are from almost right ahead, which creates high winds across the outer decks. The stabalisers also have no effect on head winds.

Enjoy the last days and thanks for bringing us along.  We were sad to miss this and glad you had a reasonably good time.  Hope LA greets you with sunshine.  Good bye!

Thank you!  We had an amazing time thanks to Viking!!  Their service and food was amazing and we felt safer than being at home.  Now we look forward to our next Viking cruise!

And it ends just like it started. In a hotel. Luggage ready. Waiting for our 10:30pm flight.

Hey guys we would love to do that cruise, but it wasn’t available on the UK website. It’s been great following your posts, safe rest of journey home.

This is what the cdc is reporting.    Yellow not green?  Is this correct?

Yes, there was 1 positive a few days after Tahiti.   More info if you go back in this thread.  That is all it takes with this few passengers to go yellow. Seems to take about a week to show up on CDC site, depending on the reporting period.

If Viking ever sails this route again. Book it immediately. It was amazing.

Hope someone on this cruise  does a  trip review.

The live thread has been great with pictures.

Thks.   One out of 300 pretty good to me.

Actually about 450+ passengers  and about 400 staff so out of over 850.  It was very good considering we left as Omicron was starting to peak.   I think the Viking Protocols work, but everyone needs to do their part.  There were also 3 cases a few days after we left port that probably caught it during travel.  Also, a small number were escorted off before we left port because they didnt pass the initial PCR. (I didn't see this reported but we saw through the windows as we ate dinner, after waiting in our room until we passed our PCR)  I also know of at least 1 person who didnt pass their pretavel PCR, so they had to cancel at the last minute.  Their were probably others.  I'm so glad we went, but I understand why some folks backed out.
