I can’t remember, but it took me where I needed to be. 🙂 I do have Apple products, so Android may work a bit differently.
barbeyg Posted January 14, 2022 #27 Share Posted January 14, 2022 Don’t know if this would be helpful at this point, but I set up an account at BOTH eMed (when I purchased tests directly from them) and Navica, when I installed the app. When I was ready to test, mine went smoothly, maybe because of the prior setups. Instead of removing from the tripod? You can but I just leaned my phone against something because as others have said, they used the front and back camera on the phone. It was easier to just pick it up if needed.

The results show up in the NAVICA app. Here are the steps I followed: Go to emed.com Choose Start testing Choose your state, press start testing Choose start testing Select why testing. Choose other Choose log into NAVICA Log in to your NAVICA account Choose allow to allow basic info to be shared Answer basic questions (do you have an unopened test available, etc). choose join guided session emed will test device on next screen Click ready to start test. You will be connected to a guide who will walk you through the process. Your results will appear in your NAVICA app and should also be emailed to you as an attachment. I suggest printing the results if you can - it seems to go a little faster in line with a printout vs using an electronic version of the results. The proctor to see you and then to see the test kit. On a laptop you can use the one camera for both functions. I had a problem with one test (the liquid reactant used for the test was dried up). the rear facing camera was used to read the QR code on the box as well as to read the test results at the end of the test. The front facing camera is used for the proctor to see you and to watch the test during the 15 minute waiting time.
