tfg Posted February 2, 2022 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2022 Hi has anyone done a private tour to Capri and the blue grotto or any boat trips out of Naples please.
euro cruiser Posted February 2, 2022 #2 Share Posted February 2, 2022 There are very few tour operators that include the transportation from Naples to Capri, generally they meet you on the island. It's very easy to use the fast ferries from Naples to Capri, the dock (Molo Beverello) is adjacent to the cruise port. You can see a variety of tour options on Capri here: Capri: Guide and Information - Book hotels and tours online
slidergirl Posted February 2, 2022 #3 Share Posted February 2, 2022 If you do go to Capri, remember to bring your own water bottle and reusable shopping tote as Capri has banned single-use plastics. It's a good thing to do regardless of where you go, anyway.

I am also looking for a tour in Capri from the port of Naples. I will be watching to see if anyone makes recommendations to you.
Rare steamboats Posted February 7, 2022 #5 Share Posted February 7, 2022 There´s no private tour needed. Everyone has to take the ferries over from Naples to Capri. The ferry terminal is right next to the cruise terminal. At Capri Marina Grande - where the ferries dock - you find the boats going to the Blue Grotto (which is highly overrated). You can also book a roundtrip around the island including the Blue Grotto (but be aware you have to pay the entry fee for the Blue Grotto extra). The boats going around the island are small boats and it´s all small groups. If you want to do an land based round trip there are plenty of taxis giving you a tour of the island. steamboats 1
