Travel and Entry Requirements

I found this great website that lists entry requirements for travel to all countries...   hopefully it's allowed.

The problem is that there is no way that they can keep up with all the changing requirements. You need to go to the source - the country you are entering - and hope that their website is up to date.

An official site for EU countries is https://reopen.europa.eu/en/

The reopen EU website states that the list of countries for which restrictions should be lifted is reviewed every two weeks but was last updated almost 4 weeks ago. Does this mean the list was reviewed but no changes were made?  Canada was on the list until Omicron hit 😞

The same issue as with the Sherpa site; there is no way they can keep it up to date.

They do mention that on Flytrippers, but what I like about the site is that they have also provided the links to each country’s official sources as well so that you can easily check for updates.

My tip is check out airlines sites. lufthansa.com for example you put in from where you are flying to  and from where.  and then it lists all the details. This is usually updated with in 24 hrs of any changes.

Sherpa bases its information on the government websites of other countries. Doing an ongoing scan for updates is well within their capabilities. If you visit the website, you'll see today, for example, not only are they listing changes effective today (France), but changes effective tomorrow (Japan) and the day after tomorrow (India). They also list changes effective yesterday (Ecuador and Kosovo).

 

I'd say that they do a pretty good job of keeping up to date, which is why Air Canada bases its travel requirements webpage on Sherpa's information.
