Hello!  I haven't received any communications from the Haven concierge desk for our upcoming Greek Isles cruise (July 30 departure.)  Is it just too early or did I maybe miss an email?  Can someone share the Haven concierge desk email address?

Thanks!!

Out of curiosity, and because I don't want to start a new thread, does anybody know what kind of coffee makers are in the Haven rooms on the Prima? We're cruising on the Viva in March, and wanted to know if they took K cups, if I should bring my coffee, or if I'm even allowed to.

They have Nespresso although it's been reported that you can request a different type of machine more like the ones found in hotel rooms.  I do wish that they would throw the nespressos overboard and replace them with Keurigs.

Don't say such things! The Nespresso is not quite as good as my espresso maker at home, but surely way better than any Keurig-made coffee I've ever had. I know, espresso ain't for everyone, especially when you just want a cup of joe...and that French Press is strong (which is why I love it)! NCL has my kind of coffee down...now if they could if a middle of the road, not swill, for others!

Instant makes a machine that uses both Nespresso pods *and* k-cups, and it makes 3 sizes of each. The Nespresso pulls are just as good as with my Essenza machine. The problem is it takes up considerably more space.

I love it, because I can use the k-cups to make an iced coffee and still have my espresso and not have 2 separate machines like I used to have.

WOW! That's an amazing machine. Ok...if it performs well, NCL should get these machines so more people can be happy with their coffee choices. I won't be adding it to my stable of machines, but that's because I prefer freshly ground beans (yea, I'm snooty about my coffee and freely admit it). But really...thanks for sharing that machine with us. It should be a game changer for hospitality companies.

All I want is that 'cup of joe'.

My favorite place for coffee is the self-serve in the buffet.

I can drink the coffee from my keurig if it's the breakfast blend.

I spent years in the military drinking coffee that was so strong it could be used as paint remover.

Now, I just want a simple, not too strong, 'cup of joe'.

Thank you, Laszlo. Do you just let the concierge know you're ready to get off, or do you have to coordinate a time?

At least on our cruise they had letter at the Concierges desk with times you could get off on port days. This was handle by either the concierge or one of the butlers. Each time coming back on one of the butlers or concierge was at the gangplank and would wave us over to get back on the

Thank you for this information; what a nice perk.

This perk and the fact that I don't have to wake up at 5:30 am to save a lounge chair is worth the fare.  Thank you again, Laszlo!

At most I've seen the Haven sundeck about 50% full at the peak of the day.

Two days ago on the Joy (second sea day going to Bermuda), the weather was PERFECT, and we had ours, but all of the loungers and seats up in the sun deck were completely taken by the early afternoon (but not 7am either!). Did see people do the walkthrough and not find seats. BUT, they had the roof open, so people were lying in the sun by the indoor pool as well.  The Joy does have double the Haven cabins of the other ships (except for the Prima), so that could be why they were all taken.  And the whole upstairs indoor sundeck was empty, so that was an option as well.  Overall fantastic cruise so far!

Hello,

Has anyone used the portable phone besides calling their stateroom? Thanks

I have used it when in the casino or on one of the main decks to contact our butler to have drinks and snacks delivered to our room before we returned.  The phone had our butler on speed dial.

I have a question about laundry service in the Haven.  We are in a 2 BR Family Villa on a ten-day sailing.  Do we get any free laundry bags?  How often do they offer laundry bags and how many (one for each person or one for the while villa?)

Free only if you are Platinum (or above) LATITUDES!

I bought my wife a Nespresso machine from Costco on the flight back from our last Haven cruise.  She was quite smitten with it.

I realize a lot of people like the Nespresso machine.  I prefer the Keurig.  I'm just not a fan of fancy coffee.
