Carnival Splendor is taking passengers Alaska to Sydney in September.

I'm very optimistic cruising will start here after the arrival of the repositioned ships in the spring.  Of course what restrictions will be placed on local cruises is anyone's guess.

It may be a condition imposed by our governments, trying to ensure ships artive here without having Covid onboard. Plus many of the ports along the way probably won't be open to cruise ships. Many people wouldn't be keen to do two or more weeks at sea with no port stops. I'd love it though!🤣

A day or two ago a couple of travel agents posted this information on their social pages.

DW & I are booked and have paid the deposit. 

We even sprang for a balcony cabin!

I do, however, think Carnival is a bit cheeky advertising prices that don’t include gratuities. And then they slug you with an extra fee for paying with a credit card. 🤷‍♂️
