I found this interesting article there that answers my question and much, much more. profcruise.com/cruising-from-seattle-in-2022
redsox1584 Posted February 22, 2022 #5 Share Posted February 22, 2022 They don’t use the one that is downtown, they use the Smith Cove terminal at Pier 91. Not sure about hotels around that terminal, I don’t think there is a ton around there. When I took a cruise out of there I stayed at a downtown hotel and took an Uber over to the terminal
CruiserBruce Posted February 22, 2022 #6 Share Posted February 22, 2022 They use Pier 91, no hotels near there. But its a short taxi/Uber ride...from downtown Hilton to Pier 91 was a $13 taxi ride last time we did it. Very quick and easy.
Glaciers Posted February 22, 2022 #7 Share Posted February 22, 2022 There are no hotels near Pier 91 although some a few miles away. The Mediterranean Inn is one of the closer ones that is decent and in a good area. Across the street from a Safeway and there are several restaurants within a few blocks. The Seattle Center/Space Needle is a short walk. In the past they have provided for a shuttle to the port for $10pp.
Rare Ferry_Watcher Posted February 22, 2022 #8 Share Posted February 22, 2022 @3some, FYI, Carnival is super strict with their boarding times. Even if you got to Pier 91 early and went thru the embarkation process, you would not be allowed to board the ship any earlier than your assigned boarding group. Find a hotel that suits your needs and arrive at the pier at your assigned time.
