I don’t understand why anyone would take kids on an adult oriented vacation, whether it is on Celebrity, at a casino, or at an adult all-inclusive resort.

I also don’t understand why any adults seeking an adults oriented vacation would go on a Disney cruise or a destination focused on entertaining families.

I wouldn’t go to Disney World and complain about all the children. Please don’t come to a celebrity cruise ship and complain that the adults only indoor pool is for adults only.

To be sure m, we sail often with a family who has a six (6) yo and she is very happy and content in Camp and swimming in the outdoor pool and going to the Martini Bar for a quick 'Cocktail' before going back to camp... LOL

bon voyage

We ALWAYS make vacation decisions on the basis of family, not parents.  Anything else would be offensive to a parent.  We have traveled on 20 cruises mostly before children including Celebrity, RCL, Disney, HAL, Oceania, Princess, etc.  The Caribbean 6 times!  Our decision here as with others is for the itinerary of Iceland and Ireland which is a family heritage trip.  There is no better "fit"!  We have been on Celebrity 5 times.  We know what we are getting into.  Not asking much here, just a little understanding for limited access to facilities when weather conditions are poor.  Thank you.

OMG so relieved you are not on our  Alaska cruise. Take your kids on Disney. As many have said Celebrity is for adults.

Your opinion not based on reality. If Celebrity didn’t have families they would have folded years ago.

Oh give it up.

Do we now need to post out military service on this form. You are looking at a home with two USAF officers. This is so silly. Go on Disney if you have a problem.

Sailed with Celebrity for thirty years with and without my children who are in their thirties. Your opinion has been shared by many over the years but thoroughly debunked. You sound like the usual cruiser who says Celebrity is for adults only who has never taken kids on a Celebrity cruise. Perhaps you should and you will realize how good their kids programs are.  I have seen all of Celebrities ups and downs during during good times and bad. Stand behind what I said completely.

We cruised when the Zenith was still sailing..that was a very long time ago. We have taken all four of our children on Celebrity, but not when they were little.. I would never take a small child on that kind of cruise. As I said and I stand by it, older children are fine..even little ones are fine, but don’t for one minute think they should be in the adult areas. Adults go on vacation and don’t particularly care to have little kids running around.

If you think their kids programs are so good, then why do they need to be in an adults only are??
