The little chef hats are just chocolate. The others are sort of candies but I didn’t end up eating them this time around. Way too much food! DAllenTCY Posted March 16, 2022 #127 Share Posted March 16, 2022 (edited) The normal boarding bridge (FMT I believe we call it) broke. It has been out of service for 3 weeks. I hope they fix it faster than the escalator......which took 2 years. Apparently the company that installed the escalator went bankrupt during Covid, the warranty expired, and the port was out of money because we didn't have any cruise ships. Those gadgets are pretty complicated especially with hydraulics and sensors. David Edited March 16, 2022 by DAllenTCY 1

DAllenTCY Posted March 17, 2022 #132 Share Posted March 17, 2022 (edited) Today I was told that the gangway has been repaired. More good news.....SDG&E is working on the shoreside power supply which until now was limited to either the north or south side. Hopefully, both ships will be able to shut down this weekend while in port and on April 3rd and April 13th all three ships in town will be able to "plug in" for most of the day. flyrobinfly Posted March 17, 2022 #133 Share Posted March 17, 2022 Thanks for another delightful review, I enjoyed it! Glad you had a wonderful cruise. 🙂 We are on Kdam this Sunday and I was wondering how strict they are with boarding times. Ours keeps getting pushed back further and further and I don't know if we need to find something to do for several hours (early AM flight in) until then or if we can try checking in early or if we'll get turned away or have to sit in the terminal. I'd love any insight, thanks!
DAllenTCY Posted March 17, 2022 #134 Share Posted March 17, 2022 On Sunday two ships will be at the same pier. The other is the Disney Wonder. Those guests need to be shuttled away for Covid testing. You don't. The best option for you is to arrive between 11 am and noon. David 1

Our boarding time most recently got pushed back to 2:20 PM and I was frantically trying to find someplace to store our luggage while we went to the Midway or elsewhere on the waterfront until then.
