Cabins Now Available for the 2024 ATW

Although this was announced as a sellout just minutes after booking opened, there are now a good number of cabins from the Deluxe Oceanview through Concierge Veranda categories on both the 180 and 196 day versions of the itinerary. Apparently deposits were not paid for a number of bookings . We were able to change our cabin location to one we preferred  from what we consider to be a less desirable location.

If you're interested in booking, now's your opportunity...or if you're booked but might want to change your cabin category there may be something available for you. contact your TA or Oceania .

We love the itinerary and hope 2025 will be similar. Need to hit a milestone at work. But absolutely love the port choice

Yes...the 2024 itinerary was a big factor in our decision to book. I suspect 2025 will be significantly different, perhaps first sailing east toward Africa, which is the one major omission in the 2024 itinerary.

Remember the industry odds, even before Covid. Three (3) cruises booked for every one cruise taken. Some book and cancel before they even make a deposit. Others cancel all the way down the line even after Final Payment. Absolutely no surprise there are open cabins already and will be more in the future.

What is a surprise is that there are so many available cabins for the ATW cruise. That normally doesn't happen. Just as in prior years the 2024 ATW was "sold out" within minutes of the opening of booking. One would expect some drop out by about a week from that date when deposits are due, but typically those cabins are quickly filled after they become available.

On the 2024 ATW cabins are currently available in both versions of the itinerary in every category but Insides, Owners Suites and Vista Suites. I've never seen anything like that on an Oceania ATW just a couple of weeks after booking opened.

Could be all sorts of reasons

Some get caught up in the frenzy  then when they find out how small the cabins are or the cost of insurance  etc.. might rethink those plans

Yes, but why just the 2024 cruise? What you said was applicable to the ATW in previous years. Perhaps a fear of the world political situation worsening because of Russia's invasion of Ukraine is playing a role.
