Curious...was Joff (the CD) present during your cruise?  Or only on announcements?  The reason I'm asking is I was on the cruise prior to you.  Mid way during the cruise when he was introducing one of the shows he commented on a scratchy voice.  Then he no longer introduced shows going forward and the activity manager did in his place.  Someone on our FB page said he tested positive but not sure how they knew or if this was true.

I saw Led Zep the first night then the Cabaret show and do not remember seeing anyone introduce either, but I am somewhat ADHD so he could have been there or around other areas but I honestly have not seen him..

 

I will see shortly if he introduces Led Zep in the main theater and report back.

The introduction to the show was just a voice over and I am not sure who it was but he was the same one who introduced Spectra…

If you happen to go past the Jameson's liquor again, could you please let me know what size bottles they are. That's Hubby's choice of poison. We typically don't buy any liquor on board any longer because it's a pain to carry back and we can typically get it on sale for around the same price!

 

Glad to hear Jamie's is good as we're planning on having lunch or dinner there at least once. I want to try the lasagne!

We were on the 3/13 Anthem (before you) and crazy how each cruise can be different. You have bad luck with the prolonged stay in PC and now the WWRY show. Not even sure how the weather compares. Having said that, I love this sailing out of NY and I am sure you guys are having a blast. Enjoy your last day at sea!

Overall we have had some great weather for March.    The fact we were able to comfortable hang out at pool deck on Monday, boarded Sunday, was rare for this time of year.  

We, too, have done this itinerary a bunch of times and always enjoy getting onboard.🤩

Good morning Cruise Critic’s.. Welcome to day 7 of this Semi-Live from Anthem of the Seas.. I demand a recount, there is no way we are at day seven already!  
 

We are actually looking forward to getting home and seeing our two elderly dogs 🐶 but we will miss a lot of the things we enjoyed this week onboard Anthem…

 

We will miss our early morning walks around the nearly empty ship getting coffee at Cafe Promenade…

 

 

Sitting with our coffee and just decompressing our minds from the past two years and current world we live in..

 

Looking up at the moon 🌙 while we walk along the outside promenade (damn did it get cold quick, turn the damn ship around) about the best an Iphone can do with such a dark picture..

As the week rolls on our thoughts tend to an important subject….. a next cruise… I know you all have the same thoughts 😆 

 

We have a next cruise booked for May sailing on Symphony of the Seas from Miami with family and some if their friends.. also Mrs. S earned enough points in the casino, meaning she lost double the cost of a balcony 😂 (why am I laughing ?) that we have a free room for a next cruise when we decide to book one beyond May.. But if not we would have taken advantage of the next cruise desk and some of their offers….

Found the Inaugural Visit Plaques Display on Deck 2 Aft commemorating Anthems inaugural visits to each port of call provided by the port.  Just a few of the many Plaques on display…

 

How many of these ports have you been to? It was nice looking over all the plaques and reminiscing about some of the ports we visited and the ships that took us there.. it also reminded us how blessed we are and have been to be able to sail so many times and visit many of these ports…

Seeing all the luggage carts lined up waiting to take our luggage off tomorrow was like a horror movie when the hero finds out the dirty secret the villian has in store for him 😩 hidden in a secret area… 😆 or thats just my warped mind 😝

One thing is certainly not going to miss Anthem…. My waistline… after today back to oatmeal and fruit for breakfast everyday…

 

( I know there is oatmeal and fruit available but what fun is that on vacation 😆).

I feel your pain! Those tags always elicit such a different response than the luggage tags that pop up in our email for embarkation day!!!
