We were on AOS the week before this with an 11am checkin.  There was practically no one there.  They were announcing that if you were early with a later check in time to come on in.  We were on the boat within 15 minutes 🙂

Well we are more than half way through the week, welcome to hump day..😆

 

Retired a bit early last night, and up early today with excitement for Coco Cay!!

 

Took our morning coffee stroll and found the Diamond Lounge..

 

 

Have used our 5 daily drinks provided to D+ cruisers and that has covered our needs..

 

You can grab snacks and drinks/coffee at the Diamond Lounge throughout the day at various times…

 

 

 

 

 

Not a huge deal, so please don't go out of your way, but wondering...

 

There was a thread a couple weeks ago about D+ access to the Concierge Lounge on Anthem.  A Royal flyer said it was open again but that the Anthem Concierge said D+ were not allowed back in at present.  Have you dropped by or been able to confirm whether D+ can go back in or is it just Suites and Pinnacles?

This is the first cruise Pinnacles have been allowed back to the suite lounge.  D+ was “booted” from the lounge precovid.  Not sure about now but from the looks of it I would say no.  Lounge has been very empty.

I have not checked and will have to find the Concierge Lounge to check. I will either later today or one of the two seadays so check back.

Awesome! You are going to have a blast on Oasis! They are our favorite class of ship in the fleet.  Unless there is a storm Oasis should handle fine. That time is still early enough in Hurricane Season you probably don’t have to worry.  There have been quite a few moderate swells on our trip but only a bit of rolling have we felt.  
 

Our cabin is in the back of deck 13 which is not ideal as a lower and more central cabin location will reduce motion felt.

 

We have lovingly nicknamed our cabin the Dr Suess Suite because of the creaking and motion.

 

”Our cabin Shimmys and shakes and might I say Quakes with the motion of the ocean” in our Dr. Suess voice 😂

Good Afternoon Critics,

 

We are back onboard after a great afternoon on Coco Cay. 
 

I have a video pieced together to upload to show an overview of the island and main areas after walking almost 7 miles today estimated from pacer.

 

It ended up being very warm and sunny but with a nice breeze. Definitely the warmest day we experienced since last September since fall started and several missed spots of sunscreen are a bit burnt 😂

Might be nice sliding down but not so nice climbing up in the first place 😩

We are scheduled to visit again in May on a cruise with family and are really looking forward to visiting again it is awesome at Coco Cay

They had an offer of 20% off premium selections 

 

 

These  Shrimp 🍤 in this Shrimp Cocktail took the word Shrimp literally… 👀 

 

 

Braised Beef was Excellent 7 out of 5 Forks..

 

 

Then yum yum time… Royal Cheesecake..

One of the best parts of cruising too me is the sunsets.. We witnessed our #1 sunset tonight after dinner. The following time-lapse nor picture does it any justice….

We did the slides in October.  I had concerns of climbing the stairs.  It was a challenge but worth it.  Not only the slides are fun but you can get some nice pics up there.  We liked it so much we did the slides again in January.

I’m guessing you can take a GoPro or some type of waterproof camera then?

Tonight's sunset was gorgeous.  Of course I didn't have my phone to take photos.   Thank you for the beautiful photo🤩

I, too, thought the shrimp tonight were smaller than earlier in the week.

I had funnel cake at snack shake.  Yummy!

I would think you could take a GoPro, I used my Samsung S21.  The following were taken from the smaller slides.
